Tasks
- The Retail Establishment President will be setting the strategic direction for SMS Motors, aligning with the vision of expanding into pocket locations in the Regional BC, while maintaining the high standard of service at the main dealership locations in Lower Mainland.
- You will be overseeing all operations, ensuring the Chilliwack location and future pocket sites run effectively, offering top-notch service and a diverse inventory of vehicles.
- As a Retail Establishment President, you are expected to spearhead the expansion strategy, selecting optimal sites for new pocket locations, and designing a business model that caters to the lack of on-site inventory with a focus on vehicle delivery.
- You will be dedicated in enhancing the online platform to support the expansion, ensuring that the digital browsing, scheduling, and financing services are seamless across all locations.
- The Retail Establishment President will control financial strategies, including budgeting, revenue generation, cost management, and financial planning to support expansion while ensuring the profitability of all locations.
- At SMS Motors, the Retail Establishment President will be upholding and enhancing the company's reputation for exceptional customer service, ensuring that the service standards translate to the new business model.
- You will be monitoring recruitment, training, and mentoring staff across all locations, fostering a company culture that values expertise, customer service, and ongoing learning.
- You are required to lead marketing initiatives to promote both the existing services and the new pocket location concept, ensuring a cohesive brand message for SMS Motors.
- Ensuring that the service and parts department operates efficiently, providing high-quality maintenance and repair services.
- You will be encouraging the adoption of new technologies and innovative practices to improve the customer experience and operational efficiency. - The President will be implementing and monitoring high standards for vehicle inventory, ensuring that all units, whether in Chilliwack or at pocket locations, meet SMS Motors' quality criteria.; Guarantee that all dealership activities, including the new expansion plans, comply with automotive industry regulations and standards.
- Engaging with customers, community members, suppliers, and industry partners to build strong relationships and support business growth.
- Through dedicated expertise, The Retail Establishment President will regularly assess business performance, adjusting strategies in response to market trends, customer feedback, and financial results.; Identifying potential risks associated with expansion and existing operations, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
