Job Description:
Job title: Sourcing specialist (Noc 12102)
Work Location: 31 Vambury Street, Paradise NL A1L 0J9
Work hours: Monday-Friday, 35 hours/week
Wage: $37.00/hour
Vacation: Employees are entitled to either two weeks of paid vacation per year or compensation equivalent to 4% of their gross salary.

Job duties
Evaluate and assess suppliers' quotations, actively participating in negotiations regarding prices and terms.
Foster strong and reliable relationships with suppliers to facilitate quality assessments and explore opportunities for cost reduction.
Perform market analysis and provide valuable insights to aid strategic decision-making processes.
Source a diverse range of Asian goods to fulfill the needs of our restaurant.
Review and negotiate favorable terms within contractual agreements for our establishment.
Engage in procurement activities to ensure cost-effective selections and optimal stock levels.
Efficiently onboard new exceptional suppliers and oversee the management of existing ones, effectively handling orders and promptly resolving any issues.

Job Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is required.
A bachelor's degree or college diploma in economics, logistics, or operations management is an asset.
Previous work experience in supply chain is required.
Excellent communication and negotiating skills, attention to detail.
High pressure resilience, work independently.
We work in English, but being fluent in a second language is an asset.
