Description:
The lead will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex technology solutions. Responsibilities include interfacing with IT and Business partners to understand and influence requirements and technical solutions, and support of technical solutions built by vendors and BSC resources. RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead design and development activities on concurrent complex projects with multi-source, on and offshore teams Provide technical leaderships in designing and implementing large scale, complex enterprise applications requiring high performance and availability Be able to synthesize complex data/information, and lead complex technical implementations on plan Ability to matrix manage/organize others with the IT organization in order to get work done quickly Experience in a large, complex organization or corporate structure environment required.
Qualifications:
Education/Requirements: BS or MS in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience. Very strong technical skills with at least 7 to 10 years hands-on design, coding, integration and deployment experience in enterprise applications Extensive experience in Java, JEE, JDBC, XML, XSL, MQ, SQL, .NET, and ETL/ELT tools. Strong knowledge of design patterns. Good understanding of SOA Strong ability to analyze business requirements and transform into technical design and system solutions Able to effectively communicate status, design and approach with management/business sponsors/product managers Familiar with standard software development tools, including incident tracking, documentation, and testing systems Self-directed, works with limited management direction and exercise considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment Ability to build strong relationships and drive alignment on difficult topics Minimum Experience Level: Experience operating, enhancing and/or supporting packaged Health Plan core business administrative system (i.e. Facets, DIAMOND, MetaVance),ERP, or similar application supporting complex business processes in a health plan Experience with iterative development life cycle methodologies and application of those principles, especially Agile development practices Demonstrated ability managing projects with tight timelines in a complex organization Demonstrated experience working with vendor partners.
