Job Description:
Seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at A+ Sushi (Sushi Lover's Market Ltd.)!
Position: Bookkeeper
Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: C$25.50/hour
Vocation: 4% of gross salary
Working Hours: 40 hours/week
Work Location: 631 Corydon Avenue Winnipeg, Manitoba R3M 0W3. Canada
Language: English
Job Duties:
• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions promptly and accurately.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements on a regular basis and perform account analysis and reconciliation.
• Prepare financial reports, summaries, and other documents for review.
• Support the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation as required.
Job requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Completion of courses in Accounting or Bookkeeping is required.
• 2-years experience as a bookkeeper or similar role, with a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
