York Consulting Inc. is a business-to-business call center specializing in technology, software, manufacturing, and many other business-to-business markets. York Consulting services clients across North America, providing sales and marketing support to an elite list of companies, many of them world leaders in their fields.
We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join York Consulting. This position will work in fast changing environment following the ongoing situations on the markets and analyzing and provide a high-quality analysis to our business and clients to support senior management in strategic decision-making processes and ensure financial stability and growth.
Main Responsibilities
• Collect financial and investment information and conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis, and trend analysis to identify key drivers of financial performance and provide insights for decision-making.
• Conduct clients, industry and economic research and provide outlooks, analytical reports, briefings notes and correspondence.
• Prepare and present insightful financial reports and presentations to senior management, highlighting key findings, trends, risks, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights for financial analysis and reporting, fostering a collaborative and data-driven decision-making culture.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop detailed budgets and forecasts aligned with strategic objectives.
• Evaluate financial risks, prepare financial forecasts, financing scenarios and other documents concerning capital management, and write reports and recommendations.
• Plan short- and long-term cash flows and assess financial performance.
• Provide investment advice and recommendations to senior management and support York Consulting or our clients’ investment decision making and assist in preparing operating and investment budgets.
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, business administration, accounting, finance, or economics
• At least 2 years of experience in financial analysis, advising, planning, and reporting or similar roles.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
Job Type: Full-time
Language: Fluency in written and spoken English
Salary: $38 per hour
Work Hours: 30 hours per week
