Job Requirements
Language: English
Education: Education in Business Administration or related
Experience: 2 years of related work experience
Location of work: Various locations in Kelowna area
Tasks
• Hire, direct and motivate staff
• Plan, develop, evaluate and implement recruitment initiatives
• Assign staff to attend career fairs, make industry connections with training providers
• Promote company as a positive and environmentally friendly employer
• Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers
• Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions and salary scales
• Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs
• Administer compensation programs and structures
• Oversee training of staff, maintain records and staff files
• Schedule staff according to project need
• Oversee administration of company workplace safety policy and investigate any concerns related to safety
