Job Description:
Position: Sterling, VA
1. Managing the company's international sales activities and servicing strategic/key accounts
2. Playing an integral role in new business pitches and hold responsibility for the effective on-boarding of new clients
3. Training local staff regarding coordination of German Military and Government relocations from and to the USA
4. Creating tactical and strategic business and sales growth plans, sales forecasts for production planning and annual budgets
5. Developing, writing and assisting in the execution of business plans for all current and opportunity tender business
6. Managing the quality control of loading processes pursuant to German governmental agency specifications
7. Liaising between clients and relocation crews to ensure customer satisfaction, quality assurance, and the continuous improvement of services
8. Project management with planning and implementation of new services
9. Training of local staff with respect to the characteristics of the German Military and Government relocation contracts, rights and obligations, requirements for handling and documentation
10. Procurement of external services (invoicing and claims assistance)
11. Supporting the company's rapidly growing team and assisting in the management of expansion of the company's footprint
Job Requirements:
1. Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, quality control and management of accounts
2. Detailed knowledge of structure of the German Armed Forces and the GermanMinistry of Foreign Affairs
3. Demonstrated knowledge of Quality Management DIN EN ISO 9001:2008
4. Excellent communications, organizational and time management skills
5. Knowledge of developing and executing business plans
6. Experience in training staff regarding in the highly specialized military and government contracts, as well as procurement knowledge
7. Fluency in the German language (native German speaker preferred)
