Job Description:
Job title: Human resources and recruitment officer
Nature: Full-time permanent.
Work hours: Monday-Friday, 35 hours/week
Wage: $35/hour
Work Location: 300-404 6 Ave. SW Calgary AB

Benefit: 10 days of paid vacation per annum or remuneration of 4% of gross salary
Job duties
Advertise job positions by evaluating our future human resources gaps and development
Provide guidance to job seekers regarding employment criteria and terms.
Recruit recent graduates or students to support our growth.
Communicate selection outcomes to applicants and extend job offers accordingly.
Provide guidance and support to staff and other professionals regarding staffing procedures.
Oversee staff consultation processes and address any grievances promptly.
Verify eligibility for benefits and coordinate training sessions for staff

Job Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is required.
A college diploma or course in human resources management, business administration, industrial relations, commerce or a related field is preferred.
At least 1 year’s experience as a human resources officer or similar role.
Well-organized and detail oriented
Exceptional communication and writing skills
Excellent analytical thinking and collaboration
Proficient in English
Fluent in a second language will be an asset.
