Job Requirements:
Your duties and responsibilities will include the following:
- Organize product displays according to the established planogram to optimize visual appeal and maximize sales opportunities.
- Build and nurture relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain, including regular communication and collaboration on product availability and quality.
- Monitor stock levels and conduct regular inventory assessments to ensure adequate product availability while minimizing excess inventory and associated costs.
- Negotiate pricing, discounts, credit terms, and transportation arrangements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and maintain cost-effective procurement practices.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the purchasing process.
- Analyze establishment requirements and market trends to determine the appropriate quantity and variety of merchandise to purchase for resale, aligning selections with customer preferences and demand.
- Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities by studying market reports, trade periodicals, and attending trade shows and product design events to inform purchasing decisions and identify potential opportunities.
Requirements:
- Completion of College
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience
