Job Description:
POSITION: CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Sukhi Bath Motors Inc. is a family-owned and operated premier retailer of pre-owned vehicles. Our dedicated sales staff and top-trained technicians are here to make your auto shopping experience fun, easy, and financially advantageous. We are the largest in-house financing dealership and have over $20,000,000 in pre-owned inventory. We specialize in newer-year vehicles and take pride in ensuring that each car, truck, SUV, van and commercial vehicle undergoes a thorough safety inspection and preventative maintenance.
Job Overview:
We are currently looking for a skilled and innovative Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to become a part of our team. As the CFO, your primary responsibility will be to supervise all financial aspects of our company and develop our financial strategy and planning. This will involve managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial analysis and negotiations with lenders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to the General Manager and stakeholders.
- Supervise the finance department including in-house financing.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Lead and develop the finance team by providing guidance and mentorship.
- Evaluate and manage financial risks.
- Devise and implement financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Enhance process improvements and efficiencies in financial operations.
- Represent the organization in negotiations with lenders and financial institutions.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; MBA or MFA is preferred.
- 3 + years of experience in financial leadership roles.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the General Manager and stakeholders.
- Previous experience in the car dealership industry would be considered an asset.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
We are located at 15437 Fraser Highway, Surrey, BC V3R 3P6.
Compensation: $ 50.00 This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, in person.
