Education requirement:
- Completion of secondary school is required
Job requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the related experience, including at least 1 year of supervisory experience is required
Language Requirements:
English

Compensation:
$25.25/hour
Hours:
30-40 hours per week
Vacation:
4% to 6% Vacation Pay according to the BC Employment Standards Act.

Duties:
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operation of the café, including quality control of coffee and food, and ensure that all physical aspects of the store, such as coffee equipment, appliances, and devices, are fully operational
- Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
- Hire new staff and arrange and oversee the training to create a team that reflects the company’s purpose, mission, and expectations
- Schedule shifts and monitor staff performance
- Manage inventory, check revenues and control costs, and adjust procedures
- Deal with customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food, other supplies and clients for catering or use of facilities for banquets or receptions.
