Job Description:
At this time, we are seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to join our team.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare financial forecasts, evaluate market risks, and provide advice and recommendations to senior management
• Oversee financial control aspects of multiple construction projects
• Prepare financial analysis of each project necessary for effective decision making
• Review financial data and convert it into useful information for project management decisions
• Conduct detailed analysis of project financial actuals, cash flow, estimates, and budgets
• Advise on the financial aspects of contracts
• Assist in preparing operating and investment budgets
• Communicate with the Controller of Finance on a regular basis and advise of anticipated issues
• Develop and update financial policies
• Update customers, management and board on market risk and opportunities.
Job Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or Economics
• MBA degree with major in Finance is an asset
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams and departments
• Fluent English
