Job Description:
Speed Truck & Trailer Repair Ltd. located at 12891 116 Ave, Surrey, BC, Canada, V3R 2S5 requires two full time & Permanent Machinist to join operations immediately. We welcome and encourage Youth, New immigrants, and Aboriginal people.
Job Duties:
• Read and interpret blueprints, charts, tables or sample parts to regulate machining operations to be performed.
• Repair machine tools and parts.
• Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformation to specifications.
• Maintain inventory.
• Fit and assemble machine metal parts and subassemblies using hand and power tools.
• Compute dimensions and tolerances and measure and lay out work pieces.
• Set up, operate and maintain machine tools for operations such as cutting, turning, milling, drilling and other operations as required.
Job Requirements:
Wages: $34.25 per hour for 40 hours per week along with 4% Vacation pay.
Education: Completion of High School is required.
Language: English is required
Experience: Minimum two years of experience in the relevant field is required.
