Job Description:
DEAL CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate is a bright, positive, self-starting professional with 2-6 years of experience in civil engineering, demonstrating a passion for land development. As a potential future Project Manager, the candidate should embody a team player attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit. Joining a young and diverse team, the candidate will contribute to a positive workplace culture and bring a proactive approach to their work.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Project Manager throughout the entire land development process, covering diverse projects such as shopping centers, auto dealerships, gas stations, amusement parks, and QSR development.
Prepare on-site private grading, storm drain, utility plans, earthwork estimates, and construction quantity estimates.
Navigate plans through governmental agencies and ensure compliance.
Facilitate communication and coordination with clients and project teams.
Contribute to the preparation of public street, storm drain, sewer, water street lighting, signing, and striping improvement plans.
Conceptualize the initial civil design approach for significant phases of large land/site development projects.
Plan, schedule, conduct, or coordinate civil engineering work.
Assist in the design and ongoing progress of projects, liaising with City, State, and County officials, as well as other external agencies.

Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in civil engineering.
Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of California.
Expertise in AutoCad / Civil 3D.
Proven ability to meet demanding deadlines.
Excellent team player with 2-6 years of experience in Land Development, encompassing design and permits.
