1754523 Ontario Inc. O/A Westex International has an immediate opening for 2 Mechanic Helper (NOC: 75119) our location in Mississauga, Ontario.
As a Mechanic Helper (NOC: 75119) you will perform some or all of the following duties:
• Move tools, equipment and other materials
• Hold stakes during surveying activities
• Assist in splicing overhead and underground communications and electric power transmission cables
• Signal safety procedures to other workers and to the general public
• Provide assistance in repairing, maintaining and installing industrial machinery and equipment such as refrigeration, heating and air conditioning
• Assist in repairing, maintaining and installing elevators, aircraft, railway cars, automobiles, trucks, buses, heavy equipment and motorcycles
• Mix fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides and load mixture into airplane for aerial spraying
• Move surveying tools to and from work area
• Clean machines and immediate work areas
• Perform miscellaneous labouring activities to help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed
Qualifications:
• Completion of Secondary School is required.
• On Job Training will be provided.
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (40 hours/week)
Compensation: CA $22.00/hour
