Job Description:
Ninja Japanese and Korean Restaurant is looking for F/T Cooks.
Position Info:
Position: Cook
Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $18.75~$19.75/hour (depending on experience)
Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
Number of Positions: 2
Work Location: 4605 Lakelse Avenue, Terrace, BC V8G 1P9
Benefits:
4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
Prepare and cook entire meals or individual dishes
Oversee kitchen operation
Maintain inventory and records of food, kitchen supplies and equipment
Ensure kitchen and food service area clean and sanitized
Schedule and supervise the activities of the kitchen assistant
Order food ingredients, kitchen supplies, and equipment when required
Plan menus, regulate size of food portions, and estimate food requirements and costs
Recruit and train new kitchen assistants in food preparation, cooking, and usage of kitchen equipment
Job requirements:
Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required
Education: Completion of secondary school is required
Language: English
