Job Description:
-Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
-Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, sanding, or other appropriate methods to ensure proper adhesion of paint.
-Smooth surfaces, remove old paint or repair cracks;
-Read specifications to determine quantities of materials required;
-Mix and thin paint to obtain desired color and texture;
-Apply paint or other materials, such as stains, lacquer, enamel, oil, varnish, fiberglass, metal coating or fire-retardant using brushes, rollers or spray equipment;
-Collaborate with other restoration professionals, such as water extraction technicians and carpenters, to ensure a cohesive and efficient restoration process.
-Keep working area clean and safe.
Job Requirements:
-Completion of high school (Preferred).
-2 + years of experience as a painter or related field.
-Flexible hours, including weekends.
-Hand-eye coordination.
-Physically demanding.
