The Material Handler role is responsible for supplying, organizing, and issuing all thermoplastic materials to the Extrusion department and performs secondary operations for the department.

Weigh and measure materials and colorants using scales
*
Operate as a team player to assist in meeting department goals

Operate pneumatic tubing cutter to cut off-line jobs and performs secondary cutting and packaging of tubing

Helpful skills for YOU to succeed as a Material Handler in our Extrusion Dept. (helpful, but not required):

Knowledge of handheld measuring equipment.

General knowledge of mechanical function.

Willingness to learn.
Qualifications for YOU to be successful:

GED or High School diploma preferred or equivalent experience.
*
Dependable; maintains regular and punctual attendance.
*
Detail-oriented.
*
Ability to work independently.
*
Ability to read small print and to see at normal distances; write clearly and legibly; and hear within normal ranges in person and on telephone.

Ability to lift 50 lbs.
