Role and Responsibilities

Establish and approve policies, programs, and goals for the company.
Authorize the establishment of major departments and senior staff positions.
Establish and implement security policies and procedures to protect sensitive information.
Provide oversight of all security personnel, including selection, training, and performance evaluations.
Create and implement innovative strategies in collaboration with clients to meet their needs.
Participate in official negotiations and functions on behalf of the company.
Ensure that administrative and financial controls are established and managed correctly.
Enhance operations and management reporting by developing administrative systems.
Plan and prioritize operational, budgeting, HR, and security procedures.
Ensure the security and privacy of the organization's information systems.
Develop an environment that fosters a positive, high-performance team environment.
Implement safety programs with the goal of achieving zero workplace injuries.
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training of site security personnel.
Assess the security operations at the site and provide recommendations for improvement.
Establish and maintain key performance indicators for the site.
Establish relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a secure working environment.

Education, Skills and Competencies Required

Education in business/public administration, finance, or related discipline.
Minimum 4-5 years of experience in security operations management.
Passionate about gender equity, youth, and building more inclusive societies.
Strong knowledge of security systems and technologies.
Strong knowledge of human resource practices and sound financial management.
Exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Proficiency with MS Office and online technology.
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment to meet multiple deadlines and flexibility with shifting priorities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
Demonstrates leadership skills, including planning, organizing delegating, problem solving, training, coaching, and praising or disciplining staff in a positive manner.
A solution-focused leader with initiative, strong work ethics, a commitment for excellence and leading a positive, supportive, and focused team.
