Attention burgeoning developers! We are looking for someone with exposure to SharePoint and M365 that is ready to gain more experience with their skills. This role also involves obtaining a security clearance with the Department of Energy!



The successful candidate will work closely with a team of developers, IT customers, and clients to administer, develop, and maintain SharePoint Online sites, Microsoft 365 solutions. This role requires an extensive amount of self-initiative, the ability to work independently, and learn new concepts or technologies quickly.



Specifically, as a SharePoint and M365 Developer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining solutions using SharePoint Online with the Power Platform tools, including creating sites, creating flows, Power BI reports, managing complex permissions, web pages, and a wide variety of different custom and out-of-the box possibilities. You will develop system diagrams, workflow charts, and other system documentation for developing and maintaining solutions. The successful candidate will be involved in the full Systems Development Life Cycle beginning with the reviewing, analyzing, and creating new or modification of existing systems.



You will have impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal, and are adept at working independently or collaborating with IT customers and in a team in a virtual environment.



Job Responsibilities:



  • Independently administers, develops, and maintains all aspects of SharePoint Online sites, including basic IT out-of-the box customer requests, permission management, modernization efforts, and site creation and development.

  • Provides solutions with Microsoft 365 platform technologies, like Power Automate, Power BI and Power Apps, including updating existing solutions and responding to new flow, report, or forms requests.

  • Participates in refactors of non-SharePoint applications into SharePoint Online or M365 solutions.

  • Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and solves technical issues with existing solutions.

  • Communicates clearly, concisely, and professionally via a variety of channels to team and client audiences.

  • Provides requirements analysis and detailed technical documentation.

  • Independently identifies opportunities for process improvements and works with team members to implement efficiencies.

  • Effectively creates and maintains relevant systems documentation and user guides.

  • Participates in evaluation of new technologies and releases.

  • Reviews the problem and request management register and identifies actions.



Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field or equivalent relevant experience.

  • More than 2 years of experience in SharePoint on-prem/Online administration, development, and maintenance.

  • At least 2 years of experience with Power Automate flows and Power Apps forms creation.

  • At least 2 years of experience with basic programming skills, JSON, jQuery, HTML

  • US Citizenship required

  • Ability to report onsite at minimum 2 days per week



Required Experience:



  • SharePoint 2016 and Online.

  • Microsoft 365 Power Platform development, including Power Automate.

  • Ability to conduct Business Analyst and QA tasks.

  • Proven record of working independently in virtualized (remote) and in-person teams and with clients/customers to provide technical and functional knowledge and expertise.

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent written communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills.



Hands on experience with:



  • SharePoint Online development and day-to-day maintenance.

  • SharePoint Online administration center features.

  • M365 Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI.

  • Teams, One Drive.



Preferred Experience:



  • Experience with on-prem SharePoint Designer workflows and custom forms.

  • Strong, independent application development skills that contribute significantly to analysis, prototype and design, test, and troubleshooting activities.

  • Requirements gathering and building prototypes.

  • Ability to analyze existing architecture, develop and implement recommendations.

  • Experience with ServiceNow incident and request management.

  • Proficiency with MS 365 Office Tools.

  • Agile methodologies, particularly utilizing JIRA.
