About Us

Mo Fan Taichi & Wushu Academy was established in 2010 by Master Mo Fan who is an internationally recognized master of Chinese Wushu and who has been awarded the title of "Outstanding Wushu Athlete" by Chinese Wushu Association and General Administration of Sport of China. Athletes from the school have competed nationally and internationally, winning numerous medals and gaining the respect and recognition of the Wushu community. Over the years, the Academy has been involved in a wide variety of community activities through performances, contributions to local charities, volunteering, and sponsoring numerous fundraising events. Mo Fan Taichi & Wushu Academy plays an active role in promoting cultural participation and social philanthropy.

Mo Fan Taichi & Wushu Academy is now looking for a Video Technician to assist our marketing and branding activities.

Job Duties

-Edit and produce high quality videos of martial art performances, competitions, and training sessions for online-teaching purposes
-Collaborate with martial arts instructors to identify the best angles and shots for capturing techniques and movements
-Create suitable promotional video and marketing materials to attract new students (teens and adults)
-Maintain and troubleshoot video equipment to ensure proper functioning
-Manage and organize video files and archives to ensure easy access and retrieval of footage
-Coordinate and schedule video shoots and events with instructors, students the and management team
-Stay up-to-date with video production trends and techniques to continually improve the quality of the school’s video/picture content on digital platforms such as website, Instagram, etc.

Qualifications

-Diploma or Degree in a related discipline or equivalent years of experience
-1 to 2 years of related experience is preferred
-Proficient in Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator (AI), InDesign software
-Experience in Photo shooting is an advantage
-Ability to work in a tight timeline and work well as a team
