Accounting Clerk Job

SNI Companies is working with a Financial Institution, located in Mercer County, NJ, who is seeking an Accounting Clerk. This is an in-person role and it is temp to hire! Our client offers a pension, affordable medical benefits, 401k match, and great PTO time to ensure a work life balance.

• Processes all Mobile Check Deposits by approving/denying as appropriate


• Process all card Fraud Activity Claims


• Be a representative to the members in a courteous and professional manner and provide prompt, efficient and accurate service in the processing of transactions.


• Files and maintains Remex claims


• Reviews ACH/SD reports for accuracy


• Share Branch report review and adjustments


• Research member concerns, troubleshoots, and resolves account discrepancies


• Maintains member insurance account program and post monthly premium payment exceptions


• Reviews daily bill payment reports and processes any exceptions


• Handles payroll allocations


• Files related information in an accurate and retrievable manner.


• Process collection claims


• Post Shared Branch adjustments.


• Maintains the IRA program


• Processes stop payment requests for members share accounts, also ensures no checks have been returned in positive pay


• Handle the E-Statement Program in a backup capacity


• Provides notification and reconciliation process to members based on stale dated checks


• Open/Close Certificates of Deposit
