Job Title: Insurance Agent

Hourly Wage: $29.50/ hr, (40 hrs per week)

Job Duties
Sell automobile, travel and property insurance
Engage with clients to identify their needs and provide expert advice to ensure the best coverage for them.
Develop new business opportunities by securing expiry dates and cross-selling.
Recommend risk management strategies that fit clients personal risk profiles
Monitor and handle policy renewals and track claims
Manage a book of business and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive contact via phone, letter and email.
Manage and process renewals on a timely basis and maintain high levels of client retention.
Respond to clients insurance-related questions and issues
Perform other duties when necessary.

Vacation: 4% vacation pay per pay period
Job Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is required
Experience in the insurance or financial industry is an asset
BC general insurance license is required
Strong communication skills
Well-organized, flexible, and ability to work independently
