Job Description:
Peony Naturaspa Inc.is looking for a permanent, full-time Spa Supervisor to join our busy team!
Position: Spa Supervisor (NOC: 62029)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (30-40 hours per week), Day, Morning, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours, To be determined
Hourly Wage: $19.85 - $21.00 per hour
Expected Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Location: 803 Chaparral Drive SE suite 212, Calgary AB T2X 0E5
Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Supervise and co-ordinate appointments, work schedules and work activities of staff (technicians, receptionists, etc.)
• Delegate workloads to staff workers
• Responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of beauty and other equipment such as computers, POS system, etc. and arranging for maintenance and repair work
• Approach with the best possible solutions when encountered with potential conflicts/issues including customer complaints
• Generate and submit reports on sales/performance for review
• Monitor, and develop the service quality
• Perform nail care/art service to customers when needed
• Assist in the process of hiring/recruitment and training of new staff if needed
• Keep the workstation neat and clean
• Other relevant duties as assigned
Position Requirements and Qualifications:
• Secondary school graduation;
• Additional training/certificate in a related field as an asset
• 1-2 years of work experience at a nail/beauty salon
• Knowledge and familiarity in nail care and art or other esthetic services
• Ability to build and maintain a good relationship with customers
• Strong organization and effective interpersonal skills
• Team player – positive, organized, reliable and motivated; Client focus
