Title: Medical Sales and Aftercare Specialist

Salary: $28.89 Per Hour / $56,333.42 per year

The duties of the Medical Sales and Aftercare Specialist are as follows:

Administrative Functions in Sales

• track all AED accessories (i.e., batteries and electrodes) and notify clients prior to ensure all AEDs are safe and in working order and to increase accessory sale revenue for the company;
• manage medical consulting contracting, specifics and invoicing and work as the ‘go-between’ to connect the first responders with Dr. Holmes;
• correspond with clients via email and phone to communicate product offers, manage any customer service issues, and communicate delivery times and delays; and
• offer technical support and troubleshooting post implementation.

Business Development

• have an understanding of how AED products work and understand the individual technical functions;
• compose RFP documents in the response to requests to aid business development – defines the scope of services and products provided, lays out potential pricing and adheres to all specific requests from clients; and
• develop business development strategies and works closely with the marketing team to conduct an analysis on competitors, environmental changes and company strengths and weaknesses.
Customer Sales:

• identify new lead opportunities and carry out a full sales cycle;
• manage a large client base, negotiate terms and contracts to close sales;
• track CRM (customer relationship management) software and move leads along pipeline;
• cultivate relationship with clients to ensure renewal and upselling;
• work with clients to support post implementation and assist with troubleshooting medical devices;
• lead campaigns for specific industry outreach
• manage recall response should it arise
• meet with the customers’ personnel and discuss the scope of project synergies and outline initial contract terms.
• Schedule meetings and presentations to discuss:
o what we can offer them from a company perspective;
o logistics and timelines;
o specific product details – including, which device works best for them and why;
o solutions to issues or concerns they have;
• draft contracts and negotiate terms, pricing and time frames;
• offer training assistance in the form of demo videos and sudden cardiac arrest education;
• provide ongoing support to clients following our ‘Ideal Client Journey’ method;
• provide post implementation support, i.e.:
o track all accessory dates and lot numbers;
o provide post-AED use services by submission of reports after the AED is used, replace AEDs with accessories and return in a timely manner; and
troubleshooting and support.
