Job Description:

Document, analyze, operate, and maintain hardware and software of Local Area Networks (LAN).
Apply established US DOI IT security requirements and procedures to assure the integrity of computer systems and privacy of electronic data.
Develop project plans to document decisions, scope, cost, and schedule special projects involving technology solutions and information processing.
Plan and schedule projects for software/hardware deployment as coordinated by the client.
Operate and maintain tape backup systems at local and remote sites. Responsible for data recovery, tape rotations, job execution, and cataloging tapes.
Maintain voice network and related systems hardware, including testing and installing wiring, diagnosing circuits, replacing failed hardware, and coordinating with service/carrier providers.
Document and manage voice and PBX software systems, voice mail,
Access Control Systems, and Security Surveillance systems.
Manages and maintains data in a broad variety of databases and spreadsheets related to telemetry operations.
Provides expert level technical and diagnostic support to customers on the configuration and use of various cellular and telemetry systems.

Job Requirements:

Applicant should possess a bachelor’s degree or higher in a field related to the position or have 4 years or more experience in a field related to the position.


Installation, management, and troubleshooting of access control systems and security surveillance systems.
Managing cellular devices in an encrypted device management system; network configuration troubleshooting, and repair.
Telephony configuration troubleshooting, and repair including PBX management.
Standard desktop support to staff for Windows-based computers; and backup schema maintenance and hardware repair.
Strong documentation skills to maintain a broad variety of databases and spreadsheets, plan and schedule projects for deployment.
Network and telephone cable installation, repair, tone-outs, and other troubleshooting steps for cabling used for access control and surveillance systems, network servers, and telephony equipment.
Provide expert level support to customers on a variety of telephony equipment, network equipment, and Windows-based computer systems.
