Job Description:
Purpose of Position
To plan, coordinate and administer the public information program of the Greene County Public
Information Office and American Rescue Plan Act under the direction of the Director of Communications
and Public Engagement and the Greene County Commission.
Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Communications, Public
Relations, Marketing, Advertising, or a closely related field. Must have at least two years’ professional
experience. Knowledge of Adobe suite, specifically Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
A combination of education, training, and experience, which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and
abilities for this job, may be substituted for evaluation at the discretion of the County Commission and
County Administrator.
