Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Work setting: Hairstyling and Beauty salon.
Address: 9880 120 St, Surrey, BC V3V 4C9
Tasks:
Shampoo customers' hair.
Supervise other hair stylists and other staff. Supervise apprentices/students in training. Analyze hair and scalp condition and provide basic treatment or advice on beauty care treatments for scalp and hair.
Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair.
Apply hair extensions.
Clean and style wigs and hair pieces.
Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair.
Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features or determine style from client's instructions and preferences.
Maintain and order supplies.
Hair styling techniques: Blow drying. Iron
waving/curling. Permanents. Extensions. Twisting. Locking. Roller setting.
Hair colouring techniques: Bleach. Dyes/tints. Streaking/highlights.
Experience: 1- 2 years
Person should be authorized to work in Canada.
