We first opened our doors in downtown Hamilton in 2010. Since that time Maverick has grown independently to include seven more locations across the GTA, Southern Ontario, and Halifax. We have contributed to, and helped define, barbershop standards and in doing so, elevating our clients experiences in our barbershops. Weve done this while creating new jobs and providing a fulfilling career for our barbers.
At this time, we are looking for an organized and enthusiastic Barbershop Supervisor to join our Scotia Plaza team for a full-time, permanent position.
Duties and responsibilities:
Oversea daily barbershop operations by supervising, assigning, and reviewing the work of barbershop workers
Schedule workers shifts
Ensure workers are aware of job duties, health and safety procedures, and good hygiene practices
Order supplies and ensure appropriate stock levels
Resolve work-related issues as they arise
Ensure high-quality services are provided
Position requirements:
Secondary school diploma
At least 1 year of experience in the similar role
Excellent command of English, both oral and written
Excellent organizational skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Compensation and Conditions:
Pay for this position will be $22.50 per hour
A regular work week will consist of at least 35 hours
Overtime may be occasionally required and will be paid at 1½ your regular pay after 44 hours per week
Permanent, full-time position
Work location: 40 King St. W., Toronto, ON M5H 3Y2
