Duties & Responsibilities:
With support, coaching, and direction from CMT's HR Manager, the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Full cycle recruitment, including identifying staffing needs, working with hiring managers to develop and advertise job posts, managing the applicant tracking system, facilitating interviews, candidate deliberation, offer development, and onboarding stages

  • Cultivate strong partnerships with hiring managers and company leaders, serving as an advisor for talent acquisition practices and recruiting decisions

  • Conduct initial phone interviews with candidates to assess qualifications, technical skills, and cultural fit

  • Continue developing CMT's talent sourcing strategy to leverage networks in the industry, recruiting sources, social media, and best practices to build a robust talent pipeline

  • Serve as a CMT ambassador during the college recruitment season, including cultivating relationships with target schools, developing strategies for attracting a diverse applicant pool, coordinating recruitment events, and attending career fairs

  • Serve as a system administrator for the applicant tracking system (ATS), including troubleshooting, system optimization, evaluating and recommending system functionality, making modifications, managing data and analytics, and ensuring data integrity

  • Track and analyze recruitment budget, metrics, and KPIs to ensure data-driven decision making

  • Foster CMT's diversity, equity, and inclusion values in all aspects of the talent acquisition process

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field required. Equivalent experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.

  • Minimum 4+ years as a Recruiter or HR Professional is required; Previous engineering or technical recruiting experience is a plus

  • Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices

  • Understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures

  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, regulations and requirements related to HR

  • Must possess a high level of integrity, ethics, honesty, and fairness, the ability to handle confidential information with discretion, and communicate demonstrating respect for all employees, promoting inclusion of a diverse workforce

  • Strong organizational skills: multi-tasking, attention to detail, and ability to work independently

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience working in HRIS & ATS platforms

  • Experience supporting a multi-site workforce is preferred

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required

  • Travel as required up to 25% if needed
