Job Description:
1066102 BC Ltd O/A Tej Builders Group Ltd. has immediate opening for a Plumber (NOC: 7251) at our location in Abbotsford, British Columbia.
As a Plumber (NOC: 7251), you will perform some or all the following duties:
• Installing, repairing and maintaining domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing systems.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems.
• Marking positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures and floors.
• Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings
• Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes using hand and power tools and machines
• Join pipes using couplings, screws, bolts, cement.
• Welding pipes.
• Test pipes for leaks.
• Prepare cost estimates for clients.
Qualifications:
• Completion of secondary school is preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience is preferred.
• Completion of a three- to four-year apprenticeship program or a combination of over four years of work experience in the trade and some high school, college or industry courses in carpentry is usually required to be eligible for trade certification.
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (40 hours/week)
Compensation: $26.00 / Per Hour
