Job Description:
Money’s Beauty Salon is in search of hiring hairstylist for their salon located at 7563 6th Street Burnaby, BC V3N 3M4. It is a full-time position with 8 hours a day and 40 hours a week. We are welcoming part-timers as well.
As a Hairstylist, you will be performing the following job duties:
-Greet and Welcoming clients to the salon
-Respond to customer queries, schedule and confirm appointments
-Suggest haircut that complements the client’s features or choose a style based on client’s instructions and preferences
-Cut, trim, blend, wave, curl and style hair and apply hair extensions
-Shampoo and rinse hair
-To colour, frost, or steak hair, put in bleach, tints, dyes or rinses
-Examine hair and scalp condition and provide basic treatment and recommend beauty care treatments for scalp and hair
-Maintain inventory for hair care products and order supplies as and when required
Number of Positions: 1
Job Requirements:
-High School Education is required
-Certification in hairstyling will be an asset
-On-the-Job training will be provided
-English as a language skill is required
What we offer:
-$17.00 per hour wage will be paid
-4% vacation pay
