Compensation will be salary $70,000-$80,000 plus commission

Position Summary

The Sales Manager must consistently meet or exceed sales quotas while maintaining profitability through expert management and leadership of the sales team. The Sales Manager hires, trains, and monitors team member performance; partners with Account Managers to resolve customer complaints; and helps with the closing business when necessary.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of experience in staffing, light industrial, manufacturing, and supervisory or management experience. They must have strong business acumen, sales aptitude, and willingness to accept accountability for sales targets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and strong leadership and motivational skills are essential.

Essential Functions

Provide hands-on coaching and feedback to a team of Sales Executives tasked with bringing in a new business against monthly revenue targets
Coach, develop, and motivate the team to become top achievers and future leaders
Share and ensure execution of best practices when it comes to outside sales and closing effectively
Hold the team accountable to ensure our services, processes, policies, and pricing is communicated clearly and accurately to client prospects
Ensure that the sales team leaves a positive impression on everyone they interact with
Effectively plan and lead team meetings, one on oneís, and group training
Exceed monthly sales team quotas and successfully complete all activities that drive revenue generation
Monitor sales reports, take appropriate action, and communicate trends and market conditions to senior leadership
Implement strategic sales training, planning, and forecasting
Assess the team accurately to provide timely and motivating coaching
Monitor the market dynamics and take action to ensure any issues or potential issues are addressed
Regularly review team KPIs and take appropriate action to ensure success
Other projects and duties as assigned

Preferred Skills and Experience

Bachelorís degree in business or equivalent experience
3 or more years of successful experience in retail, light industrial, or manufacturing staffing
2-5 years of sales team development and management experience
Highly professional presentation presence, including communication, tone, and overall delivery
2 years of CRM experience
2-3 years of sales training experience
3 years of experience effectively developing, managing, and leading inside sales teams
Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
A consistent track record of success in leading sales teams to exceed revenue goals
Experience analyzing data and making sound decisions based on the data

Strong leadership capabilities to coach, develop, and motivate a diverse team
Ability to act with the highest level of professionalism in meetings with internal and external clients and stakeholders, in personal presentations, and in general interactions
Proven to be highly motivated, self-directed, and possess high energy
Capable of handling confidential information with discretion and maturity
Capable of operating with high integrity and personal accountability
Strong organizational, time management, and personal judgment skills
Exceptional customer service focus combined with exemplary follow-through.
Demonstrated ability to implement and train sales teams in strategic selling techniques
You have CRM experience, preferred but not required
Outstanding problem-solving and collaboration skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Frequent, up to 75% with some overnight travel (Most of the travel will be by personal vehicle).

Regularly required to speak, see, and hear.
Speaking abilities required by this job include clarity of verbal expression, both in concept and sound, and regular prolonged verbal exchanges numerous times during the workday.
