Eyesberg Optical & Optometry is hiring for a Retail Store Manager
Employer: Eyesberg Optical Center Inc. o/a Eyesberg Optical & Optometry
Job Location: 685 SE Marine Drive, Vancouver, BC V5X 2T5
Position: Manager
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Positions Available: 1
Wage: $30.50 per hour
Working hours: 30~40 hours per week
Benefits: 10 days paid vacation or 4% vacation fee
Main Duties:
• Plan, direct and evaluate the operations of the company engaged in wholesale and retail sales.
• Plan sales targets and marketing budgets, authorize expenditures, and monitor revenues daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Build working schedules and manage staff with assigning duties for daily operations.
• Hire and train staff.
• Manage inventory of eyeglasses, contact lenses, and designer sunglasses ensuring that supplies are ordered as needed.
• Analyzing data to identify trends in customer behavior, preferences, spending patterns and effect of competitors' operations on
sales to help improve store performance.
• Ensure that all products and services offered by the store comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and sources to ensure that the store has access to the latest products and services available
in the industry.
• Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to customer requests and issues.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, billing questions, and payment extension/service requests.
• Address staffing requirements, including the hiring, development, and retention of staff.

• Language: English
• Education: Completion of Secondary School
• Experience: 2~3 years of supervisory experience in retail
• Previous working in eye care/optical store field is an asset
• Must be able to work at least one days on weekend
