Lead the development and execution of Operational Excellence tools and methods across a mid-sized Nonprofit Public Policy Advocacy Organization. Develop program standards with functional leaders that are both strategic and tactical to enable performance improvement and efficiently deliver desired results. Train, coach, build and promote the capability within the organization to:

*** Identify waste within business processes.

*** Enable process optimization and standardization.

*** Develop robust systems that continuously deliver repeatable results.

*** Encourage Best Practice sharing and use of advanced technology.

Activities:

*** Assess, analyze and implement solutions across the organization to identify and eliminate waste.

*** Leading key improvement initiatives within and across human support resource matrix functions and policy advocacy units.

*** Manage continuous improvement efforts, including deployment, employee training and skill development.

*** Implementation of operational excellence metrics.

*** Identify, define and enable execution of significant process improvement projects.

*** Ensure effective execution of improvement projects.

*** Motivate, coach and develop individuals across the organization in executing operational excellence and continuous improvement objectives; mentor individuals at all levels to support them through the adoption of lean principles and practices.

Qualifiers:

*** Self-motivated, highly driven, influential, resourceful and entrepreneurial operational excellence expert.

*** Well-developed quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and critical thinking skills.

*** Strong influencing and communication skills, capable of securing buy-in at all levels.

*** Deep practical expertise in Lean methodologies, tools and processes; understanding of all types of continuous improvement approaches; Skilled with the use of Microsoft and other business software applications.

*** Hands on experience with automated Project Management and Metrics Monitoring systems.

*** A minimum of 2-3 years in a professional services role, project management experience, and/or HR experience OR 1-2 years in a resource planning/coordinating role.
