Job Description:
Duties: Develop Architectural design from concept to completion to match project
budget, scope, and schedule, Modiff construction documents as needed using inter
disciplinary CAD-REVIT BIM software for the building project. Produce inter
disciplinary conditions and Assessments report narratives for various building systems.
Develop building life cycle cost analysis for value engineering cost estimation coordinate
report narratives for Special Testing Performance to meet code upgrade compliance
under local jurisdiction required building Life Safety Assessment Compliance. Produce
Architectural demolition phase drawing for special building system including baggage
handling systems andRadio Tower system (DRF). Coordinate Sub Surface (SUE) civil
production design reports for Geotechnical surveys for Airport campuses. Work with the
project authority local jurisdiction to obtain building project permits. Resolve any
architects design technical queries regarding issued construction documents during
review phase. Ensure code requirements for both new and existing building to meet
Texas Accessibility standards and local regional zoning standards are met within the
building project scope. Establish the weekly Constuction Administration project
workflow with design team disciplines. Conduct daily architectural design technical
reviews on the project submittal register, shop drawings, product data and Material Test
Calculations results. Coordinate weekly architectural design technical reviews with
CMAR (Construction Manager at Risk) for schedule RFI (Request for Information) and
Submittal Logs work plan and Project schedule for architectural projects. Work with
Senior architects to oversee the construction project schedules from start to finish,
monitor progress and ensure that all finished products match their design. Conduct
project sites visit to attend weekly construction meetings for both demolition and new
construction phases. Track building project construction progress against pre-determined
timelines and produce monthly repofts. Ensure project budget conrpliance with multiple
cost estimates including value Engineering throughout the design and documents
productions phase.
