Description:



Provides Batch Management expertise in a large batch intensive environment. Tidal Batch scheduling experience is most recommended, but will also consider candidates with other Batch Scheduling experience (i.e. Autosys).


Responsibilities:

Operates under general direction. Assignments are very broad in nature and of the highest level of complexity. Able to impact beyond area of responsibility. May instruct, guide and oversee work of lower-level technical professionals. Consults and makes recommendations to management on significant issues. Responsible for developing and implementing new products and/or approaches in conjunction with implementing new/existing technologies.


Education/Requirements:


Experience working with Tidal, Autosys, or other batch scheduling tools is required.


Min 3 years IT experience with 1-2 years batch job management


Create new batch jobs for Informatica, UNIX, Oracle, FTP, etc. and build job workflows based on business requirements, schedule and job dependencies.


Knowledge on Tidal Transporter is preferred.


Design and deployment of enterprise job scheduling solutions. Participates in design review session and provides technical inputs/direction.


Experienced with scripting languages


Participates in all aspects of project development including: analysis, development, testing, documentation and deployment.


Has the ability to troubleshoot complex problems.


Provide guidelines to teams on code merge and code management


Works well with customers, project team leaders, developers and other support groups.


Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent


Facets knowledge/experience a plus

Experience with Java/J2EE/Spring or .net development a plus


Healthcare domain experience a plus





Qualifications:



Education/Requirements: Generally requires 3 to 4 years of directly related professional experience and possesses deep technical abilities in one or more primary products, programs or technologies.
