Description:



Establish, implement and maintain process improvement methodology, practices, standards, templates and tools. Also responsible for ensuring that process improvement professional development and training curriculum is aligned with company process improvement methodology. Any gaps are filled through the development of course content that can be delivered to a broad range of audiences across BSC. Responsibilities Works on extremely complex projects (or multiple projects) spanning across business areas where analysis requires evaluation of intangible variance factors. Able to impact beyond area of responsibility. Ensures strategic direction of projects is in line and designs strategies for alignment with Company and business unit goals and objectives. Consults and makes recommendations to senior management on significant issues. Knowledge encompasses entire scope of company products, functions, marketing and/or service policies and procedures. Ability to interact with all levels including senior management and influence decision-making. Proven ability to determine key business issues, develop effective action plans and implement to successful conclusion. Ability to operate at a strategic business level and fully incorporate business strategies within all projects. Generally requires Master's degree or equivalent and 8-10 years of experience. Requires previous project management experience in multi-disciplinary setting.





Qualifications:



Education/Requirements: Masters Degree preferred. Technically proficient having broad background in problem solving tools. TQM, Six Sigma certification desired; Project Management certification preferred. Knowledge in developing and implementing company-wide, organizational development or process improvement programs. Knowledge of BSC or similar health care organization structure. Subject matter expert in sophisticated, best-practices organizational development, process improvement or project management processes. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to have difficult conversations. Strong negotiation skills and ability to successfully interact with all levels of management. Ability to coach and mentor. Ability to work independently and as a team member. Prefer expert knowledge of the insurance and/or financial services industries. Minimum Experience Level: 10 to 12 years organizational development, process improvement, or project management experience. Demonstrated experience in cross-functional, cross-disciplinary project management/project leadership on large-scale corporate/enterprise-wide projects. Demonstrated experience collaborating and negotiating with managers and executives. Demonstrated experience in coaching, mentoring and guiding employees in areas related to organizational development and process improvement. Demonstrated experience managing organizational development and change management communication issues. 4 years experience managing professional staff members. Supervisory responsibilities: some direct management responsibility; may also be called upon to provide support for lower level management employees. May be called upon to act as advisor to lower level management.
