Job Description:
Identify requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual clients and with other persons in a position to understand service requirements. Based on these discussions, come up with detailed specification documents that must be used by the development team during development phase; Collaborate with stakeholders such as Business team, and QA team to create an exhaustive testing strategy and test plan. Confirm program operations by conducting tests; modifying program sequence and/or codes; Coordinate project needs with project teams at multiple locations including offshore teams, and prepare status for management reporting; Make sure best practices and project management guidelines are followed; Provide reference for use of prime and personal computers by writing and maintaining user documentation; and maintain help desk; Maintain computer systems and programming guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures; Develop and maintain reporting applications and databases by evaluating client needs; analyzing requirements; and developing
software system
Job Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field and 3 years of work experience in job offered or 3 years experience in a computer-related occupation. Will accept a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field followed by 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or computer related occupation. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
Location of intended employment: 1475 E. Woodfield Rd., Suite 200, Schaumburg, IL 60173 and/or any unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
Prior experience must include: analyzing, designing, and testing applications; developing web applications using Java.
