Job Details for Material Handler I:

  • Schedule: Monday- Friday 2:30PM-11:00PM

  • Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

  • OT: Lots available

Job Details for Material Handler II:

Job Requirements for Material Handlers I, II, III:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1 -3 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

  • Ability to work in a safely in all job tasks.

  • Requires the ability to operate power equipment effectively and safely.

Job Responsibilities for Material Handlers I, II, III:

  • Receives product into the Distribution Center and ensures shipments received are in good condition and accurate by: inspecting freight for damage and signing freight bills; verifying quantity ordered versus quantity received; checking all shipments against packing lists and completing necessary paperwork for reimbursements or discrepancies.

  • Ensures all required product has verified bar code labels and human readable stock numbers by scanning products, printing labels, resolving labeling discrepancies, and completing necessary paperwork.

  • Stores checked-in products by stocking picking stock, filling bin boxes, facing cartons, checking for product mixing, and rotating product where needed.

  • Prepares orders for shipment by: preparing trucks for shipments; palletizing and wrapping orders; loading pallets and pieces into trucks; placing packing list in last skid; and completing necessary paperwork.
