Job Description:
Food Service Supervisor
Roles and Responsibilities:
Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff by scheduling and assigning duties
Ensure standards of food quality, presentation and operations are met
Record inventories, sales, wastes and write-ups of any issues and be prepared to report to manager if necessary
Be thoroughly knowledgeable and available to answer any questions regarding the restaurants specific dishes or menus
Monitor and maintain records of stock, sales, repairs and wastage for modifying procedures and estimating costs for efficient and profitable operation
Prepare order summaries and reports
Train new servers/attendants in their duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
Requirements:
1+ years experience
Completion of secondary school
Excellent communication and people skills
Proficiency in POS systems; familiar with software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Well-organized, able to multi-task and self-motivated
Language of Work:
English
Working Condition:
Some work activities will require overtime, evening and weekend
