Job Details for Financial Accountant:
- 40 hours work week
- Pay Rate: $25-$30/hour
- Temp position until November
Job Responsibilities & Description for Financial Accountant:
- Key participant in month-end close process:
- Maintain Monthly Expense and Balance Sheet Trend Analysis
- Maintain Monthly Recurring and Reversing Journal Entries
- Reconcile and analyze Balance Sheet accounts including bank reconciliation and pre-paid accounts
- Prepare Month End Manual Journal Entries
- Review P&L and Balance Sheet for errors
- Assist in all aspects of fixed asset accounting including depreciation, budget, subledger maintenance, and account analysis
- Support internal and external audits
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements for Financial Accountant:
- 1-3 years' experience in finance/accounting. Experience in a large company or public accounting preferred
- Basic accounting knowledge and familiarity with GAAP
- General understanding of business
- Good communication skills, both oral and written and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
- Oracle, Business Intelligence, and Hyperion experience a plus
