Job Description:
CNC Programmer Tooling Engineer Machining CNC Machine Tools Machining Centers Lathes Mills Machine Shop _ .
Seeking technical school or college and 5+ years experience with both horizontal and vertical CNC machines using CAM software such as: Surfcam, MasterCAM, CAMWorks, etc.; Solid track record in component blueprinting including critical measurement; Ability to read, write and verbally communicate technical data to colleagues and leadership in a clear and concise manner and capable of independently producing parts from 3D software model.
Activities:
*** Analyze work orders, drawings, models, materials, specifications, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; and interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) and then plan machining.
*** Programs mills, lathes, grinder and machining centers with CAM programs.
*** Aid machinists in installing and adjusting chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; indicating vices; tramming heads, etc..
*** Verifies settings, conducts first-run part inspections, samples workpieces and documents actions in production and quality logs.
Total compensation up to $90,000 with excellent rates and overtime.
