Job Description:
Lasko Products, an industry leader in designing and manufacturing portable fans and heaters for over 100 years, is hiring for a Staff Accountant for our West Chester, PA headquarters.
In this role the Staff Accountant will perform a variety of accounting duties and project oriented tasks to support the financial reporting needs of Lasko. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
This position will report to the Controller.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Assist with month-end close
-Preparing monthly journal entries
-Analyze GL accounts
-Assist in preparation of consolidated financial statements including assessing accuracy and completeness
-Analyze financial statement flux analysis for variances
-Prepare and maintain balance sheet account reconciliations
-Maintain expense reimbursement system
-Prepare documentation for external auditors
-Act as a backup for accounts payable as needed
-Ad hoc projects

-1+ year of experience in a similar role -Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other related area
-Proficient in MS Excel
