Job Description:
Wonderland is looking for an experienced Blog Editor to join our team.
Company Name: Wonderland Entertainment Inc. o/a Wonderland
Working Location: Unit 328-5000 Canoe Pass Way, Tsawwassen, BC, V4M 4G8
Position: Blog Editor (Permanent)
Hourly Wage: Between $28.85-$30 per hour (depending on experience) (Overtime to be paid at 1.5 the regular wage after 8hrs/day and after 40hrs/week.)
Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week (Full-time)
Benefits: 4% Vacation Fee or 10 days paid vacation

Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure articles and contents are appropriate for publication and recommend or make changes in content, style, and organization
- Proofread, edit, and correct errors in spelling, grammar, and syntax, shorten or lengthen copy as space or time requires, and make any necessary changes to copy before publishing
- Consult with staff writers, and others regarding changes to the material before it is published
- Plan the layout or format based on the space or time allotted and the importance of the copy.
- Plan and coordinate staff activities, ensuring that production deadlines are reached.
- Write or prepare introductions, marketing and promotional materials, references, indexes, and other text used for publishing.
Job Requirements:
Job Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in English, French, journalism, or a related discipline is required.
- Several years of experience in journalism, writing, publishing, or a related field is required.
- Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, is required.
