Job Description:
Identify content partners - individual writers, agencies, platforms and other institutions - globally who
have valuable resources of IPs
● Identify IPs that can perform on Pocket FM
● Negotiate acquisition, licensing, or distribution deals for IPs
● Lead and manage licensing teams spread across wide geographies
● Participate in all aspects of partnership life-cycle, including pitching/prospecting, forecasting, contract
drafting and operational management
● Perform financial and viewership analysis for discussions with content partners and make strategic
decisions
● Work in close collaboration with Finance, Legal, Content and Marketing teams
Job Requirements:
Requirements:
● 8+ years of relevant experience
● Strong and verifiable relationships with major content licensors
● Experience in negotiating license or business development agreements
● Strong understanding of content libraries across a vast array of licensors and content owners, including
a deep knowledge of market pricing and content windowing structures
● A strong track record of negotiating high-value deals
● Ability to work independently and pivot decisively and quickly when necessary
● Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
● Demonstrated experience in market analysis, competitive analysis, and strategic thinking
● Strong project and time management skills
● This role requires occasional international travel
