Job Description:

Wealth Advisor: Summary: The Wealth Advisor is responsible for developing new investment and trust business, and active management of existing client relationships. The position requires a strong financial background and demonstrated experience in multiple areas of wealth management including investment planning, estate planning and trust administration, financial planning, as well as outstanding in-person and written communication skills, computer proficiency, and the willingness to travel and be a team player in all respects. Job Details:
- Develop high net worth business, bring in new investments clients and increase company net revenue
- Develop current and future trustee clients and relationships
- Manage and service existing client agency and trustee relationships
- Seek new investment and trust clients through contacts, client referrals, workshops and seminars, centers of influence, other lines of business and nonprofits
- Keep abreast of tax laws, regulations, trends and other issues that affect client administration.
- Ensure assigned accounts are administered in accordance with the terms of the governing documents.
- Regular in-person, telephone and written communication with clients on investment, wealth management, trust and estate matters
- Work with Portfolio Management team to make recommendations for investment strategies and appropriate asset allocations to achieve clients' and trusts' wealth management objectives
- Oversee the fiduciary management of real estate, closely-held corporations and other unique assets relating to trust administration
- Strong focus on ethics and adherence to all fiduciary rules and regulations
- Represent company at civic, social and after-hour events
- Serve on in-house committees as needed or requested
Job Requirements:
- College degree and 5 + years in the wealth management industry
- CFP, CFA, ChFC, or CTFA professional designation preferred but not required
- Trust officer experience preferred but not required
- Proven track record in new client business development
- Proven track record in client servicing and trust administration
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong in-person client skills, demonstrated ability to communicate investment and financial strategies, trust and estate planning issues.
- Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Willingness to travel throughout our regions and sometimes work outside normal office hours
- Proficient computer skills
- Willingness to be a team player in all respects
