Job Description:
Benchmark Media Marketing is a social media & digital marketing agency based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We help business leaders, brands and agencies achieve a more competitive edge with a numbers-driven approach and effective strategies.
We are looking for an experienced Information Technology Consultant to join our team. This is not a remote job.
Salary: $42 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week, permanent full-time
Location: 250 University Avenue, Toronto, Ontario M5H 3E5
Job description:
Provide technical support to clients and help them diagnose and resolve technology problems
Advise clients and work with teammates to tackle complex technology issues and maintain documentation records
Design, develop, integrate, test, and implement information systems business solutions
Develop IT solutions and reports based on project management methodologies
Work with teammates to modify information systems to optimize their performance, and perform and improve IT optimization
Establish and maintain appropriate security protocol, apply latest security patches, schedule normal maintenance activities, and complete health checks along with other preventative measures
Perform regular backups for both onsite and offsite storage to ensure a successful recovery plan
Prepare reports to summarize findings and solutions

Have a bachelors degree in computer science or an IT related field
Have a minimum of 5 years of recent work experience in computer programming or an IT related field
Can quickly understand and use new tools, software, and systems
Can configure, deploy, and support a wide range of business IT equipment and software
Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills with demonstrated experience
Excellent customer service skills in person, over the phone and via email
Technical skills requirements:
C, C++, HTML, JavaScript, Python
Networking, Internet Services, DNS, SMTP, Web-Hosting, VPN
TCP/IP and networking and systems security
IT security equipment (configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance)
Database and SQL
Windows Server, Windows Desktop Application support including Microsoft Office Suite
