Job Description: This position plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the technical and non-technical aspects of any web or app development project. They build on the work of back-end developers to create the user-facing content on DATCP websites and applications. The positions work needs to strike a balance between function and form; not only should their work be efficient and well-built, but also beautiful, and easy to use for a diverse set of audiences. This position is not only technically savvy, but obsessively focused on the details that make user experience enjoyable. This position assists in estimates and work plans, feasibility studies, system proposals, delivers presentations and prepares formal deliverables related to development efforts and enhancements. This position provides support for existing customer applications, including the provision of expert advice to division personnel and assistance and leadership to other technical staff in the work unit.
Job Requirements: Minimally qualified candidates must have each of the following:
Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript Experience with UX/UI concepts (perceived experience, tradeoffs, etc.) In addition, highly qualified candidates will also have one or more of following:
Experience with TypeScript Experience with Angular JS web development framework and architecture
