Position: Assistant financial analyst (NOC 1112)
Wage: C$36.10/hour; overtime is 1.5 times of regular if hours exceed 40 hours/week, 2 weeks of paid vacation and other benefits per standard employment act
Work time: 30-40 hours/week
Type: Full-time, Permanent

In this role, you will be involved in the following responsibilities:
Provide decision support by financial modeling, business case analysis and financial/management reporting
Rate change implementation for different products offered by WISTOM
Create analysis using the business information system to drive the financial performance of the business
Evaluate and ensure accuracy of cost of sales and related variances.
Perform cost analyses and develop models for special projects including free cash flow analysis
Provide value added financial information to the respective financial Managers on a continual basis including cost, risk, return value, and investment time period.
Pricing recommendation for new products or enhancement to existing products
Reinsurance program renewal for the corporation
Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
Other insurance modeling projects as well as assisting the corporation to make data driven decisions
Other duties may also be assigned depending on the successful candidates training and experience.

Job Requirements:
Education, Experience & Skills:
Bachelors degree
At least 1-year related work experience
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients
Strong financial modeling skills required
The willingness to learn as well as an ability to manage and execute on multiple concurrent assignments to an exceptional standard is necessary
